Our story
La Gioia means ‘the joy’ in Italian, bringing each of you the happiness of dressing up with our accessories. The brand is currently based in Hong Kong and was founded by the footwear and accessories designer Gio. Taking the inspirations from her own living experience in Italy back to some years ago, each piece tells a story of Italy and represents a city, from the north to the south: Milan, Florence and Naples. Being stuck in her home town for a few years due to the pandemic, the founder-designer often finds the life in Hong Kong stressful and a lot of people have been lost, just as her. In summer 2022, she decided to go back to Italy for a long vacation. Furnished with her long-lost passion and pleasant memories, the trip has inspired her to create and develop her own accessories label – La Gioia

Each piece is rendered in materials that are mindfully sourced from both East Asia and Europe. Crafted from an array of stones, including morganites, onyxes and lapis lazulis, and further accented with 14K gold-plated detailing, La Gioia creates exquisite timeless classics for a dazzling touch, striking the perfect balance between elegance and a contemporary flair.
